PMM employees volunteer to help the homeless at Christmas

At PMM we believe that we should play an active role in our local community and as part of our Community Investment Policy, we give our employees one day’s paid leave a year to volunteer. In December, 39% of PMM Group employees volunteered with SHP to help wrap and deliver 830 Christmas presents and decorations to 21 Homeless Centres across London, bringing some Christmas cheer to the parties for their homeless clients.

Without your help, we wouldn’t have been able to carry out the biggest Christmas campaign in SHP history or make Christmas day truly special for over 830 vulnerable people. It was really touching to see how much you care about homelessness in London and were willing to support our cause this year. The time, generosity and enthusiasm you brought to the campaign was absolutely invaluable.

This was PMM’s first initiative that involved our employees working together with our charity partners at SHP. All at PMM who participated found the time spent on this valuable cause both enjoyable and highly educational. We very much look forward to participating in further charitable events with SHP in the future.
