Mike is one of QSix’s Founding Partners focused on the firm’s growth strategy and overseeing all aspects of the German residential business and Phoenix Spree Deutschland, the LSE listed German residential property fund for whom QSix is Property Adviser. Prior to founding QSix Mike was Managing Director and European Sector Head at UBS where he worked closely with Matthew Northover, with whom he founded QSix in 2006. Mike also held roles at Charterhouse Bank and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson as an equity research analyst and LEK Partners within their corporate strategy division. Mike holds an MA in Economics from Cambridge University.

Matthew is one of QSix’s Founding Partners and oversees the firm’s growth strategy. He is also a board member of a Commercial Real Estate lending Fund for whom QSix acts as an Investment Adviser.​ After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young, he worked in AstraZeneca’s strategy department. He then spent ten years in investment banking, working at ABN, JP Morgan Chase and UBS where he worked closely with Mike Hilton with whom he founded QSix in 2006. Prior to founding QSix, he led the corporate consultancy team at Hargreaves Lansdown, one of the leading financial services providers in the UK.​ Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Cambridge University.​

Michael joined QSix in 2013. He is highly focused on building and strengthening long-term partnerships with institutional investors and as a consequence is highly involved in the origination of investment opportunities . Prior to joining QSix, Michael worked at Citi Capital Advisors, a $16 billion Alternatives Asset Management group where he held the position of Global Head of Product Management. He also spent 21 years at Morgan Stanley, where he held various positions, including Head of European Debt Capital Markets and Global Head of Debt Syndicate. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland.

Jörg joined QSix in 2015 as Managing Partner of QSix’s German operations which lead the asset management of Phoenix Spree Deutschland, the LSE listed German residential property fund for whom QSix is Property Adviser. Prior to joining QSix Jörg was Co-CEO for GSW Immobilien AG, Berlin’s largest residential property company where he played an integral part in the IPO of GSW in 2011 and its subsequent combination with Deutsche Wohnen in 2013. During his eight years at GSW, Jörg oversaw the growth of the business, including a number of capital raisings and the acquisition of more than 15,000 residential units. Jörg holds an “Immobilienökonom” from the European Business School and is a Fellow of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

Giles joined QSix in 2007 and is Partner and CFO responsible for financial strategy, management and control. Giles began his career as an analyst at AstraZeneca, after which he moved to the Financial Services industry where he held senior finance positions within the fixed income divisions of UBS and Nomura. Prior to joining QSix, Giles was General Manager for an AIM listed IT services company. Giles is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant and holds a joint honours degree in Accounting and Business Economics from the University of Southampton.

Partner and COO

Richard joined QSix in January 2019 as Partner and COO responsible for the day-to-day running of the business as well as operations and risk management responsibilities. Richard also oversees QSix’s ESG initiatives. Prior to joining QSix, Richard was Partner and COO at Europa Capital, where he was a member of the Management Committee. He previously worked for BZW in the UK M&A team before moving to Deloitte as co-head of the Real Estate Corporate Finance Advisory team. He holds a Master’s degree in Modern History from Oxford University, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is also a trustee of two local charities.

Partner and Head of Specialist Mortgages

David joined QSix in 2014 and is Partner and Head of Specialist Mortgages. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he spent 12 years advising on a wide range of private equity M&A transactions. David subsequently spent six years arranging leveraged finance at NIB Capital and Bank of Scotland. Prior to joining QSix, he led the work out team responsible for Lloyds Bank’s housebuilder distressed loan portfolio. David holds an MA (Hons) in Economics & Accountancy from the University of Edinburgh.

Stuart joined QSix in 2014 and is Partner and Head of Public Markets, largely responsible for raising capital within public markets and overseeing activities related to Phoenix Spree Deustchland, the LSE listed German residential property fund for whom QSix is Property Adviser. Stuart began his career at Ernst & Young and then spent over 20 years in investment banking, where he held senior equity research and marketing positions at Charterhouse Bank, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, Citigroup and Barclays Capital and worked on a wide spectrum of IPOs, acquisitions, corporate restructurings and recapitalisations. Stuart holds a degree in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Glasgow.

Akbar joined QSix in January 2020 as an Investment Analyst and is responsible for conducting analysis and financial modelling of real estate portfolios, funds and companies. He is also responsible for conducting extensive due diligence and writing research reports for potential investments, as well as monitoring the performance of current portfolios. Akbar holds a Master’s degree in Physics from University College London.

Kristina joined QSix in 2018 as a receptionist and since April 2020 has been promoted to the position of office administrator. She is currently undergoing further training within office management, administration and HR. Her role involves managing the office and ensuring everything runs efficiently. Kristina graduated from Roehampton University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Michael joined QSix Germany in March 2016 and is responsible for the technical due diligence and oversight of the assets. After working for five years as a self-employed architect, Michael joined IWL, an engineering company, as a managing partner in 1996. He managed residential, insurance, commercial and administration construction projects nationwide. He then moved to Berlin in 2005 where he worked for more than 10 years as a technical director at Becker & Kries Group, a large private real estate company. Michael holds an engineering degree in architecture from RWTH Aachen University.

Kalina joined QSix in 2015 as a Management Accountant and is responsible for producing monthly management reporting and financial analysis to Phoenix Spree Deustchland, the LSE listed German residential property fund for whom QSix is Property Adviser. Prior to joining QSix, Kalina worked at 3i Group plc, an international investment management firm, as Finance and Operation Executive, responsible for the preparation and presentation of accounts, reports and financial information for 3i companies. Kalina studied at Roskilde Commercial University for International Management and is a fully qualified CIMA Accountant.

Business Development

Devang has 14 years of real estate investment management experience.

Devang has built a portfolio and managed a €300m closed-end German residential fund. This has included developing and executing long-term asset management strategies to create and embed economic and social value into underlying assets. Devang currently manages investors’ interests in £250m of UK residential real estate.

Devang graduated from the University of London with a degree in Economics.

Dermot joined QSix in 2017 as General Counsel and is responsible for advising senior management on the Group’s legal strategies and their implementation as well as managing all legal matters for the firm. Prior to joining QSix, he spent eight years in finance as a senior product controller for JP Morgan and then Nomura, an Asia-based financial services group, before reverting to law and training and qualifying as a solicitor at Nomura in 2006. His 14-year legal career includes time within investment banking, private practice (at Ashurst and Hammonds, where he held the position of Associate within its Banking & Finance division) and as an independent legal consultant to Synechron. Dermot holds an LLB (Hons) in Law with French from the University of Kent at Canterbury and qualified as a solicitor in 2006.

James joined QSix in November 2017 as Group Reporting Accountant and is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s accounts. Before joining QSix, James worked for Paragon Asset Finance Limited, part of the Paragon Bank Group, as a group accountant and was responsible for the consolidation of the leasing companies. James holds a degree in Mathematics from Leeds University and is also ACCA qualified.

Rachael joined QSix in April 2017 as senior administrator responsible for office management and administration duties. During her first few months at QSix, Rachael developed a particular interest in accountancy and bookkeeping and thus began to assist the finance team. Almost a year after joining QSix, Rachael began studying for the AAT Accountancy qualification and since April 2020 has been promoted to Accounts Assistant. Prior to joining QSix, Rachael worked as an administrator for RG Platinum Ltd., a property development, maintenance and building services company located in Southend-on-Sea. Rachael is AAT part-qualified and continues to study towards a full accounting degree.

James joined QSix in February 2016 working within the Business Development team and responsible for a number of growth strategies for the firm. Prior to joining QSix, he spent 15 years in financial services originating, structuring and executing a range of capital markets transactions at ING, HBOS, and Lloyds Bank, with a primary focus on commercial real estate. Prior to that, James worked for a financial services venture capital company and as an engineer and business consultant for a large construction company. James graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Aziz joined QSix in July 2020 as Acquisition Director focusing on sourcing investment opportunities across all of QSix’s affordable housing initiatives. Prior to joining QSix, Aziz spent over 15 years working within London-based Housing Associations and private housebuilders (London & Quadrant Housing Trust, Swan New Homes, One Housing Group and more recently Mears New Homes) gaining extensive housing experience across site finding, viability assessing, land acquisitions, design, and masterplanning. Aziz holds a university diploma in Business Economics and Finance from London Metropolitan University.

Karolin joined QSix Germany in 2019 as an office manager and assistant to the Managing Partner in Berlin. Before joining QSix, Karolin worked for Intown Property Management GmbH as an office assistant and assistant to the Board. Prior to this, Karolin worked for Capital Bay GmbH as an assistant to the CEO in the Transaction Management Department.

Kate joined QSix in April 2017 as Head of Compliance. She is responsible for compliance and risk within all the entities in the Group. Kate joined QSix after a 14 year career with international insurance companies. Her last role was with Chubb Insurance where she was the European Senior Compliance Manager with responsibility for all compliance matters in the UK and Europe and was the Compliance Officer for their Lloyd’s of London Syndicate. Kate holds a Management Science degree from Southampton University and a Master’s in Law from Bristol University. She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a member of the Society of Mortgage Professionals.

Sabine joined QSix Germany in March 2016 as a Senior Asset Manager and has more than 30 years of real estate experience. Prior to joining QSix, she worked at Degewo AG, the largest public housing company in Berlin, at GSW Immobilien AG, which in 2013 merged with Deutsche Wohnen and at Gagfah AG / Vonovia AG, managing organisational development and the integration project after the takeover. Sabine holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from VWA (Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie) Berlin.

George joined QSix in 2018 as a Data Manager and is responsible for the oversight of the firm’s data warehouse and reporting systems. George has over 12 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence and application development gained from exposure to a variety of business areas ranging from FMCG companies to financial institutions across Europe. George graduated from the University of Lancaster with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and holds a Master’s degree in eBusiness Management from the University of Warwick.

Before joining QSix, Adam worked in the audit and consulting department of Price Waterhouse Coopers where he led projects at the Coop Bank and RSA Insurance. He has also worked in the operations department of British Airways. Adam holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Durham University and is ACA qualified.

Miriam joined QSix in September 2020 to lead the firm’s capital raising activities across private markets. Prior to joining QSix Miriam spent four years at Fair Oaks Capital, an alternative credit manager investing in structured credit and was responsible for building relationships with institutional investors in the UK and Europe aimed at successfully raising capital for their private and public vehicles. Prior to this, Miriam spent seven years at Dexion Capital (now Fidante Partners), a boutique investment bank, where she was responsible for the distribution of alternative investment funds within asset classes such as real estate, credit and infrastructure across Europe. Her sales career began at Sigular Guff UK, a private equity firm, where she was actively involved in the fund-raising activities for fund and fund of funds. Miriam is an Executive MBA candidate from London’s Cass Business School.

Jasdeep joined QSix in 2017 and is responsible for underwriting, deal execution and management of commercial real estate transactions. Prior to joining QSix, Jasdeep was a Vice President at Situs, leading commercial real estate loan advisory projects throughout Europe, before joining boutique investment firm, Rhino Investment Management as Director, where she focused on building debt lending opportunities in the European commercial real estate markets. Jasdeep is a qualified lawyer, graduating from Cardiff University with an LLB and postgraduate diploma in Law.

Yogen has over 15 years of experience in Information Technology having worked at Network Homes, a housing association, as Head of IT operations and spent 16 years in the rail industry as a management accountant, IT Operations Manager and Head of IT. Yogen graduated from the University of Middlesex with a combined Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems and Information Technology.

Luisa joined QSix in 2012 to support the asset management activities for the firm’s German residential business and specifically Phoenix Spree Deutschland, the LSE listed German residential property fund for whom QSix is Property Adviser. Luisa has since transitioned to the Specialist Mortgages area of the business and as part of the asset management team is involved in the management of the existing portfolios, as well as assisting on the acquisition of new shared equity and equity release opportunities. Luisa holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics.

Andy joined QSix in July 2019 and is Co-Head of Affordable Housing. He is jointly responsible for developing the firm’s offering in this area. Prior to joining QSix he spent 27 years at Deloitte and Arthur Andersen, 16 as a Partner. Andy was appointed founding UK Head of Deloitte Real Estate, EMEA Real Estate Industry Leader and Global Chair of Real Estate. He also advised a variety of clients in both the public, private and third sectors on strategy, capital markets and finance transactions on residential assets. Also Chair of Governors of the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools and trustee of two local community charities. Andy is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA) and holds an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.

Prior to joining QSix Rochelle worked within the compliance department of Foxtons Estate Agents. Here she had responsibility for AML/KYC and complaint matters across 61 of its London branches. Rochelle also held roles at the Financial Ombudsman Service within the areas of mortgages, banking and payment fraud. She holds a double honours LLB Law with International Studies degree from the University of Surrey.

Ben joined QSix in July 2019 and is Co-Head of Affordable Housing. He is jointly responsible for developing the firm’s offering in this area. Prior to joining QSix Ben spent twelve years at Aviva Investors, latterly as Managing Director where he led the UK and European Direct Real Estate team with oversight of multiple funds and mandates invested across c. £15 billion of assets. This included social housing, retirement housing, care homes and PRS. Prior to Aviva Ben had real estate focused roles at Arthur Andersen, EBRD, TrizecHahn and Deloitte Real Estate. Ben is a qualified accountant (ACA) and holds a degree from Oxford University.

Anna joined QSix in 2019 to lead all marketing and communications activities for the firm. Prior to joining QSix, Anna was Head of Marketing and Communications at Fair Oaks Capital, an alternative credit manager focused on investing in European and US CLOs. Prior to that she headed up the Marketing and Communications team at Fidante Partners (previously Dexion Capital plc) where she spent more than nine years developing the marketing and communications strategy for the company, investee managers and corporate brokerage relationships; this included the planning of marketing distribution campaigns for corporate clients ahead of IPOs and capital raises. In addition, Anna was part of the management team responsible for launching a new alternative UCITS platform. Anna began her career in 2004 at UBS as a senior client relations analyst and has also held senior client relationship roles at ABN AMRO and International Asset Management. She holds a BA (Hons) in Management Studies from the University of Nottingham.

Addy joined QSix in June 2017 working in affiliated mortgage administration business Hampton Mortgage Servicing Limited. She initially worked as a Primary Servicing Associate and then laterally as a Business Intelligence Analyst. Since March 2019, she has held the position of Data Analyst for QSix and is responsible for the management of the data warehouse and production of management reporting. Prior to joining QSix, Addy was employed by Capita Conferences, the UK’s leading provider of conference services to the public sector, working in partnership with, and on the advice of, key government departments, experts, pressure groups and practitioners. Addy graduated with an MA in Geography from the University of Oxford.

Elina joined QSix in 2018 as a Fund Accountant. She is responsible for the review of financial information and monthly NAV, MI analysis and liaison with external fund administrators for the specialist mortgages and real estate finance funds. Prior to joining QSix, Elina worked at State Street Investment Bank and Trust as a fund accounting manager overseeing accounts and financial reporting for real estate investment clients. Elina started her career in 2008 and has over six years’ experience as an accountant within alternative investments and financial services. Elina holds a BSc degree in Mathematics and Management from the Royal Holloway University of London. She is a fully qualified chartered accountant and a member of ACCA.

Prior to joining QSix, Arndt worked as Transaction Manager for an institutional investor. Arndt was also a valuer at Wuest Partner and spent seven years working in JLL’s residential valuation team in Berlin as Project Manager. Arndt holds an “Immobilienökonom” from the International Real Estate Business School at the Humboldt University of Berlin.

Gareth joined QSix in 2017 to establish the firm’s real estate finance business and is currently responsible for all commercial real estate debt investments and developing the lending platform. Prior to joining QSix, he was involved in establishing the debt advisory team of LNR Europe a subsidiary of Starwood Property Trust. Prior to LNR, Gareth was a banker for Barclays Capital across large ticket corporate real estate financing and real estate M&A, latterly in the Middle East and subsequently led the recovery of the Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander real estate book on behalf of the bank’s administrators. Gareth holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the London School of Economics.

André joined QSix Germany in 2018 as a Technical Project Manager with primary responsibility for overseeing the execution of contractors‘ work on the renovation of buildings within the Phoenix Spree Deutschaland portfolio (Phoenix Spree Deutschland is the LSE listed German residential property fund for whom QSix is Property Adviser). Prior to joining QSix, André worked in a large construction management office where he was responsible for the tendering of major construction projects, including large residential buildings and hotels; here he project managed the new building of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Berlin. He then spent three years with a real estate company where he was responsible for technical property management and gained extensive experience in the maintenance and renovation of residential and commercial buildings throughout Germany. André holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Staatliche Studienakademie Glauchau.

Bogna joined QSix in April 2015 and is responsible for administration and HR management. Prior to joining QSix, Bogna was Group Administration Manager at SCF Group, a tax planning company and Office Manager for Capital Business Links, a chartered accountants’ firm where she was responsible for supervising business operations, including all aspects of office, administration, training, recruitment, HR and payroll management. During this time Bogna was also responsible for managing a team of 30 people and leading two office relocation projects. She holds a Master’s degree in English Philology and in 2019 obtained her CIPD diploma in HR Management.

Chris joined QSix in March 2016 and is responsible for the financial control of the specialist mortgage funds. Prior to joining QSix, Chris worked for Churchill Insurance within corporate partnerships where he oversaw financial management reporting and planning. Prior to this, he spent eight years at Santander Asset Management where he held the position of Head of Finance. Chris is a qualified management accountant (CIMA) and holds a Master’s degree in International Banking & Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Business & Economics from Southampton University.

Jörg joined QSix in 2015 as Managing Partner of QSix’s German operations which lead the asset management of Phoenix Spree Deutschland, the LSE listed German residential property fund for whom QSix is Property Adviser. Prior to joining QSix Jörg was Co-CEO for GSW Immobilien AG, Berlin’s largest residential property company where he played an integral part in the IPO of GSW in 2011 and its subsequent combination with Deutsche Wohnen in 2013. During his eight years at GSW, Jörg oversaw the growth of the business, including a number of capital raisings and the acquisition of more than 15,000 residential units. Jörg holds an “Immobilienökonom” from the European Business School and is a Fellow of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

Giles joined QSix in 2007 and is Partner and CFO responsible for financial strategy, management and control. Giles began his career as an analyst at AstraZeneca, after which he moved to the Financial Services industry where he held senior finance positions within the fixed income divisions of UBS and Nomura. Prior to joining QSix, Giles was General Manager for an AIM listed IT services company. Giles is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant and holds a joint honours degree in Accounting and Business Economics from the University of Southampton.

Richard joined QSix in January 2019 as Partner and COO responsible for the day-to-day running of the business as well as operations and risk management responsibilities. Richard also oversees QSix’s ESG initiatives. Prior to joining QSix, Richard was Partner and COO at Europa Capital, where he was a member of the Management Committee. He previously worked for BZW in the UK M&A team before moving to Deloitte as co-head of the Real Estate Corporate Finance Advisory team. He holds a Master’s degree in Modern History from Oxford University, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is also a trustee of two local charities.

David joined QSix in 2014 and is Partner and Head of Specialist Mortgages. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he spent 12 years advising on a wide range of private equity M&A transactions. David subsequently spent six years arranging leveraged finance at NIB Capital and Bank of Scotland. Prior to joining QSix, he led the work out team responsible for Lloyds Bank’s housebuilder distressed loan portfolio. David holds an MA (Hons) in Economics & Accountancy from the University of Edinburgh.

Mike is one of QSix’s Founding Partners focused on the firm’s growth strategy and overseeing all aspects of the German residential business and Phoenix Spree Deutschland, the LSE listed German residential property fund for whom QSix is Property Adviser. Prior to founding QSix Mike was Managing Director and European Sector Head at UBS where he worked closely with Matthew Northover, with whom he founded QSix in 2006. Mike also held roles at Charterhouse Bank and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson as an equity research analyst and LEK Partners within their corporate strategy division. Mike holds an MA in Economics from Cambridge University.

Matthew is one of QSix’s Founding Partners and oversees the firm’s growth strategy. He is also a board member of a Commercial Real Estate lending Fund for whom QSix acts as an Investment Adviser.​ After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young, he worked in AstraZeneca’s strategy department. He then spent ten years in investment banking, working at ABN, JP Morgan Chase and UBS where he worked closely with Mike Hilton with whom he founded QSix in 2006. Prior to founding QSix, he led the corporate consultancy team at Hargreaves Lansdown, one of the leading financial services providers in the UK.​ Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Cambridge University.​

Michael joined QSix in 2013. He is highly focused on building and strengthening long-term partnerships with institutional investors and as a consequence is highly involved in the origination of investment opportunities . Prior to joining QSix, Michael worked at Citi Capital Advisors, a $16 billion Alternatives Asset Management group where he held the position of Global Head of Product Management. He also spent 21 years at Morgan Stanley, where he held various positions, including Head of European Debt Capital Markets and Global Head of Debt Syndicate. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland.

Akbar joined QSix in January 2020 as an Investment Analyst and is responsible for conducting analysis and financial modelling of real estate portfolios, funds and companies. Akbar holds a Master’s degree in Physics from University College London.

Prior to joining QSix, Kalina worked at 3i Group plc, an international investment management firm, as Finance and Operation Executive, responsible for the preparation and presentation of accounts, reports and financial information for 3i companies. Kalina studied at Roskilde Commercial University for International Management and is a fully qualified CIMA Accountant.

Business Development

Devang has 14 years of real estate investment management experience.

Devang has built a portfolio and managed a €300m closed-end German residential fund. This has included developing and executing long-term asset management strategies to create and embed economic and social value into underlying assets. Devang currently manages investors’ interests in £250m of UK residential real estate.

Devang graduated from the University of London with a degree in Economics.

Dermot joined QSix in 2017 as General Counsel and is responsible for advising senior management on the Group’s legal strategies and their implementation as well as managing all legal matters for the firm. Prior to joining QSix, he spent eight years in finance as a senior product controller for JP Morgan and then Nomura, an Asia-based financial services group, before reverting to law and training and qualifying as a solicitor at Nomura in 2006. His 14-year legal career includes time within investment banking, private practice (at Ashurst and Hammonds, where he held the position of Associate within its Banking & Finance division) and as an independent legal consultant to Synechron. Dermot holds an LLB (Hons) in Law with French from the University of Kent at Canterbury and qualified as a solicitor in 2006.

James joined QSix in November 2017 as Group Reporting Accountant and is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s accounts. Before joining QSix, James worked for Paragon Asset Finance Limited, part of the Paragon Bank Group, as a group accountant and was responsible for the consolidation of the leasing companies. James holds a degree in Mathematics from Leeds University and is also ACCA qualified.

Rachael joined QSix in April 2017 as senior administrator responsible for office management and administration duties. During her first few months at QSix, Rachael developed a particular interest in accountancy and bookkeeping and thus began to assist the finance team. Almost a year after joining QSix, Rachael began studying for the AAT Accountancy qualification and since April 2020 has been promoted to Accounts Assistant. Prior to joining QSix, Rachael worked as an administrator for RG Platinum Ltd., a property development, maintenance and building services company located in Southend-on-Sea. Rachael is AAT part-qualified and continues to study towards a full accounting degree.

James joined QSix in February 2016 working within the Business Development team and responsible for a number of growth strategies for the firm. Prior to joining QSix, he spent 15 years in financial services originating, structuring and executing a range of capital markets transactions at ING, HBOS, and Lloyds Bank, with a primary focus on commercial real estate. Prior to that, James worked for a financial services venture capital company and as an engineer and business consultant for a large construction company. James graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Aziz joined QSix in July 2020 as Acquisition Director focusing on sourcing investment opportunities across all of QSix’s affordable housing initiatives. Prior to joining QSix, Aziz spent over 15 years working within London-based Housing Associations and private housebuilders (London & Quadrant Housing Trust, Swan New Homes, One Housing Group and more recently Mears New Homes) gaining extensive housing experience across site finding, viability assessing, land acquisitions, design, and masterplanning. Aziz holds a university diploma in Business Economics and Finance from London Metropolitan University.

Kate joined QSix in April 2017 as Head of Compliance. She is responsible for compliance and risk within all the entities in the Group. Kate joined QSix after a 14 year career with international insurance companies. Her last role was with Chubb Insurance where she was the European Senior Compliance Manager with responsibility for all compliance matters in the UK and Europe and was the Compliance Officer for their Lloyd’s of London Syndicate. Kate holds a Management Science degree from Southampton University and a Master’s in Law from Bristol University. She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a member of the Society of Mortgage Professionals.

George joined QSix in 2018 as a Data Manager and is responsible for the oversight of the firm’s data warehouse and reporting systems. George has over 12 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence and application development gained from exposure to a variety of business areas ranging from FMCG companies to financial institutions across Europe. George graduated from the University of Lancaster with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and holds a Master’s degree in eBusiness Management from the University of Warwick.

Before joining QSix, Adam worked in the audit and consulting department of Price Waterhouse Coopers where he led projects at the Coop Bank and RSA Insurance. He has also worked in the operations department of British Airways. Adam holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Durham University and is ACA qualified.

Miriam joined QSix in September 2020 to lead the firm’s capital raising activities across private markets. Prior to joining QSix Miriam spent four years at Fair Oaks Capital, an alternative credit manager investing in structured credit and was responsible for building relationships with institutional investors in the UK and Europe aimed at successfully raising capital for their private and public vehicles. Prior to this, Miriam spent seven years at Dexion Capital (now Fidante Partners), a boutique investment bank, where she was responsible for the distribution of alternative investment funds within asset classes such as real estate, credit and infrastructure across Europe. Her sales career began at Sigular Guff UK, a private equity firm, where she was actively involved in the fund-raising activities for fund and fund of funds. Miriam is an Executive MBA candidate from London’s Cass Business School.

Jasdeep joined QSix in 2017 and is responsible for underwriting, deal execution and management of commercial real estate transactions. Prior to joining QSix, Jasdeep was a Vice President at Situs, leading commercial real estate loan advisory projects throughout Europe, before joining boutique investment firm, Rhino Investment Management as Director, where she focused on building debt lending opportunities in the European commercial real estate markets. Jasdeep is a qualified lawyer, graduating from Cardiff University with an LLB and postgraduate diploma in Law.

Yogen has over 15 years of experience in Information Technology having worked at Network Homes, a housing association, as Head of IT operations and spent 16 years in the rail industry as a management accountant, IT Operations Manager and Head of IT. Yogen graduated from the University of Middlesex with a combined Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems and Information Technology.

Luisa has since transitioned to the Specialist Mortgages area of the business and as part of the asset management team is involved in the management of the existing portfolios, as well as assisting on the acquisition of new shared equity and equity release opportunities. Luisa holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics.

Andy joined QSix in July 2019 and is Co-Head of Affordable Housing. He is jointly responsible for developing the firm’s offering in this area. Prior to joining QSix he spent 27 years at Deloitte and Arthur Andersen, 16 as a Partner. Andy was appointed founding UK Head of Deloitte Real Estate, EMEA Real Estate Industry Leader and Global Chair of Real Estate. He also advised a variety of clients in both the public, private and third sectors on strategy, capital markets and finance transactions on residential assets. Also Chair of Governors of the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools and trustee of two local community charities. Andy is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA) and holds an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.

Rochelle joined QSix in August 2019 as a Compliance Associate. She is responsible for compliance and risk within all entities of the firm. Prior to joining QSix Rochelle worked within the compliance department of Foxtons Estate Agents. Here she had responsibility for AML/KYC and complaint matters across 61 of its London branches. Rochelle also held roles at the Financial Ombudsman Service within the areas of mortgages, banking and payment fraud. She holds a double honours LLB Law with International Studies degree from the University of Surrey.

Ben joined QSix in July 2019 and is Co-Head of Affordable Housing. He is jointly responsible for developing the firm’s offering in this area. Prior to joining QSix Ben spent twelve years at Aviva Investors, latterly as Managing Director where he led the UK and European Direct Real Estate team with oversight of multiple funds and mandates invested across c. £15 billion of assets. This included social housing, retirement housing, care homes and PRS. Prior to Aviva Ben had real estate focused roles at Arthur Andersen, EBRD, TrizecHahn and Deloitte Real Estate. Ben is a qualified accountant (ACA) and holds a degree from Oxford University.

Anna joined QSix in 2019 to lead all marketing and communications activities for the firm. Prior to joining QSix, Anna was Head of Marketing and Communications at Fair Oaks Capital, an alternative credit manager focused on investing in European and US CLOs. Prior to that she headed up the Marketing and Communications team at Fidante Partners (previously Dexion Capital plc) where she spent more than nine years developing the marketing and communications strategy for the company, investee managers and corporate brokerage relationships; this included the planning of marketing distribution campaigns for corporate clients ahead of IPOs and capital raises. In addition, Anna was part of the management team responsible for launching a new alternative UCITS platform. Anna began her career in 2004 at UBS as a senior client relations analyst and has also held senior client relationship roles at ABN AMRO and International Asset Management. She holds a BA (Hons) in Management Studies from the University of Nottingham.

Addy joined QSix in June 2017 working in affiliated mortgage administration business Hampton Mortgage Servicing Limited. She initially worked as a Primary Servicing Associate and then laterally as a Business Intelligence Analyst. Since March 2019, she has held the position of Data Analyst for QSix and is responsible for the management of the data warehouse and production of management reporting. Prior to joining QSix, Addy was employed by Capita Conferences, the UK’s leading provider of conference services to the public sector, working in partnership with, and on the advice of, key government departments, experts, pressure groups and practitioners. Addy graduated with an MA in Geography from the University of Oxford.

Elina joined QSix in 2018 as a Fund Accountant. She is responsible for the review of financial information and monthly NAV, MI analysis and liaison with external fund administrators for the specialist mortgages and real estate finance funds. Prior to joining QSix, Elina worked at State Street Investment Bank and Trust as a fund accounting manager overseeing accounts and financial reporting for real estate investment clients. Elina started her career in 2008 and has over six years’ experience as an accountant within alternative investments and financial services. Elina holds a BSc degree in Mathematics and Management from the Royal Holloway University of London. She is a fully qualified chartered accountant and a member of ACCA.

Gareth joined QSix in 2017 to establish the firm’s real estate finance business and is currently responsible for all commercial real estate debt investments and developing the lending platform. Prior to joining QSix, he was involved in establishing the debt advisory team of LNR Europe a subsidiary of Starwood Property Trust. Prior to LNR, Gareth was a banker for Barclays Capital across large ticket corporate real estate financing and real estate M&A, latterly in the Middle East and subsequently led the recovery of the Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander real estate book on behalf of the bank’s administrators. Gareth holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the London School of Economics.

Bogna joined QSix in April 2015 and is responsible for administration and HR management. Prior to joining QSix, Bogna was Group Administration Manager at SCF Group, a tax planning company and Office Manager for Capital Business Links, a chartered accountants’ firm where she was responsible for supervising business operations, including all aspects of office, administration, training, recruitment, HR and payroll management. During this time Bogna was also responsible for managing a team of 30 people and leading two office relocation projects. She holds a Master’s degree in English Philology and in 2019 obtained her CIPD diploma in HR Management.

Chris joined QSix in March 2016 and is responsible for the financial control of the specialist mortgage funds. Prior to joining QSix, Chris worked for Churchill Insurance within corporate partnerships where he oversaw financial management reporting and planning. Prior to this, he spent eight years at Santander Asset Management where he held the position of Head of Finance. Chris is a qualified management accountant (CIMA) and holds a Master’s degree in International Banking & Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Business & Economics from Southampton University.

Michael joined QSix Germany in March 2016 and is responsible for the technical due diligence and oversight of the assets. After working for five years as a self-employed architect, Michael joined IWL, an engineering company, as a managing partner in 1996. He managed residential, insurance, commercial and administration construction projects nationwide. He then moved to Berlin in 2005 where he worked for more than 10 years as a technical director at Becker & Kries Group, a large private real estate company. Michael holds an engineering degree in architecture from RWTH Aachen University.

Karolin joined QSix Germany in 2019 as an office manager and assistant to the Managing Partner in Berlin. Before joining QSix, Karolin worked for Intown Property Management GmbH as an office assistant and assistant to the Board. Prior to this, Karolin worked for Capital Bay GmbH as an assistant to the CEO in the Transaction Management Department.

Sabine holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from VWA (Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie) Berlin.

Prior to joining QSix, Arndt worked as Transaction Manager for an institutional investor. Arndt was also a valuer at Wuest Partner and spent seven years working in JLL’s residential valuation team in Berlin as Project Manager. Arndt holds an “Immobilienökonom” from the International Real Estate Business School at the Humboldt University of Berlin.

Technical Project Manager

André joined QSix Germany in 2018 as a Technical Project Manager with primary responsibility for overseeing the execution of contractors‘ work on the renovation of buildings within the Phoenix Spree Deutschaland portfolio (Phoenix Spree Deutschland is the LSE listed German residential property fund for whom QSix is Property Adviser). Prior to joining QSix, André worked in a large construction management office where he was responsible for the tendering of major construction projects, including large residential buildings and hotels; here he project managed the new building of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Berlin. He then spent three years with a real estate company where he was responsible for technical property management and gained extensive experience in the maintenance and renovation of residential and commercial buildings throughout Germany. André holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Staatliche Studienakademie Glauchau.
